Acclaimed filmmakers David Bezmogis and Albany Club member, Bill Marks will discuss their latest feature film Natasha, nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards and winner of the Michael Moskovitz Award for Film and Video on a Jewish Theme (J.I. Segal Awards).
Natasha follows the forbidden romance that develops between Mark and Natasha, teenagers growing up in Toronto’s suburban Russian neighbourhoods. Battling social norms, difficult family members and secrecy, Mark and Natasha act on their love for each other… but will it last?
